Crochet Minecraft TNT Blocks
I made two of these crochet Minecraft TNT blocks for my kids' birthday this year - so that they could throw them around and play Minecraft 'in real life.'
Actually, they already play real-life Minecraft, but now they have some soft, huggable props to do so. (By the way, real-life Minecraft is adorable, especially when you're seven years old.)
The Minecraft TNT blocks go with the crochet creeper and the ghast.

Crochet Minecraft TNT Blocks Pattern
As long as you are comfortable with some basic stranded colorwork, this Minecraft TNT crochet pattern is pretty simple.
Materials:
- 1 ball of worsted weight yarn in red, 1 in white, and 1 in black (I used Red Heart Super Saver)
- 4.5 mm crochet hook
Gauge for this project is not important.
TNT Pattern:
(Make 2)
In red:
Chain 20. Turn, SC in 2nd chain from hook and in each following chain (19 SC).
SC across (19 SC).
Work straight for a total of 19 rows.
Fasten off.

(Make 4)
Chain 20. Turn, SC in 2nd chain from hook and in each following chain (19 SC).
SC across (19 SC).
Work straight for a total of 19 rows following the pattern below.
1 square = 1 SC
Finishing the TNT Block
Hold 2 sides together and SC along the edge, joining the 2 pieces. Repeat with each of the 4 sides of the block. Do the same with the top and bottom of the TNT: hold the edge of the square beside the edge of another square and SC along the edge to form a cube.
Stuff with polyester filling before SC-ing the final edge closed.
Note: you want your SC “seams” to be on the outside of the TNT block. This gives it a more “blocky” shape, making it more like actual Minecraft TNT.
